Default Installed Springs.. Got Noise?

I had my Goldline springs installed today. Very nice 2" drop all around... but after driving the car a little, I have noticed that the front drivers side spring is making a noise as if it is "dry" or not properly sat???

Anyone know what this could be.... I am giong to take it back to the shop that installed them to check it out.

had mine done today too

did you see the guy install everything back together?

i notice that the bottom of the front spring doesnt have a rubber piece

the spring is in contact with metal directly

could be your spring trying to settle...

ill let you know tomorrow if i hear anything

i just had mine installed 3 days ago and i have the same problem. i had my friend install them but i just gave him the car and didn't see anything. ya, it's the driver's side font wheel that is making a scratching noise when you hit a bump turning or come to a quick stop.

you might want to check the top mount of the strut assembly. The top mount has to be on a certain way, it even says on the top of it "out". Check it out.

You also have to make sure that top hat is sitting on the shaft correctly. The top hat is keyed to fit on the strut shaft..

PM Randode, im sure he might be able to help with a few 10's.

When I did KiL's car the driver side front spring did not seat properly and we had some bad noise, even rubbbing. Had to take the driver side down and re-do it. It really important that springs are seated properply and the hat assembly is re-assembled correctly. check the top strut bolt, I had some ricer come buy the house and ask me to check thier spring installation job. The top bolt was loose and almost worked it way of the top of the strut. Maybe Randy can add some tips also. Bill

DJ, I am really happy that you are pleased with the product. My goal is to offer affordable quality products to my customers. I try to test my products before I sell them.
