Check your tire pressure..could be to low. Had a slow leak on my rear passenger side and it wore out on the edge, just like your explaining.

I'm having the same problem. My right rear tire tread is burned off in only 22K and the left rear is the same except it has major cupping too. The alignment check showed the right rear pointed in much more. What it looks like is the right rear was pushing in and making the left rear skip as it tryed to roll straight. I lowered my XB with Tein S springs. The dealer has told me that because the vehicle was modified, they have no records of tire rotation, and that it is out of the 12/12 warranty for adjustments they can't do anything. Needless to say the poor service writer got an ear full from me. I'm waiting to hear back from them now. THE MORAL OF THE STORY HERE WILL BE TO REQUEST THE ALIGNMENT BE CHECKED ON YOUR SCION BEFORE MODS AND AFTER MODS, WHILE STILL UNDER THE 12/12 WARRANTY FOR ADJUSTMENTS. Anyone got any suggestions?

The rear hubs can be shimmed to adjust the toe and/or camber. A good alignment shop can perform this.

I hear OTG (onetongarage) are working on some hub spacers with camber, so that might also be an option before shelling for new rubbers.

Are you guys rotating your tires, that should double the time it takes for the tires to wear badly.

it is a toe problem, not a camber problem
well, i guess it is kinda both
when you change camber(even a little) toes goes way out(or in)
lowering the xB casuer the rear axle to be closer to the body
it is designed to give a little camber as it compresses
this should only ocur in a corner or with a heavy load
so on a stock height car you will not see this wear
