Default Should I be worried?

I just realized today that 2 of my unidirectional tires (Falken Ziex ZE 512) are mounted in the wrong direction! Oops. I've been running on the 2 backwards mounted tires for about 1.5K - 2K miles now. Is there anything I should be concerned about or damage that could have been done? It was the front right and back left tires that were reversed.

I wouldn't worry about them that much. As long as there isn't any uneven treadwear, I would just rotate my tires back in the right direction and rotate more often to balance the treadwear out.

Nothing is wrong with them. If the tread wears wrong then its not the tires fault. The only thing that you have to worry about is traction on dry and wet surfaces. But, you didnt mention anything about a problem with that so dont worry about it. I would still take the wheels off the car and swap them around.

Thanks for everyones comments. I switch them last night and I did not notice any unusual treadwear. At least on the surface it looks like no damage was done.

That might be a good setup if you drive in the rain in reverse a lot...

Glad it worked out with no damage, though ;)
