are they charging yu for the TRD bar price? if not, go with the more expensive one. i don't kno the price difference.

i would choose the TRD just because everyone has the hotchkis, and i don't think the difference in reenforcement would be much different.

I heard the TRD is better. The Hotchkis is said to be bendable...someone also complained that theirs started to crack... Check the Corner Carvers section...

I thought it was the finish that started to crack, not the bar itself... but either way the Hotchkis bar (as per the ScionLife store)

I like that the TRD is blue...we've sold two Hotchkis and none TRD so far.....the two people that did buy the Hotchkis bar do really like though....they feel it make a big difference....if I had a thundercloud I'd go with the TRD other wise I go Hotchkis...

Get the TRD, and if you don't like it I'll trade you for my Hotchkis. I got mine with the Hotchkis but now I wish I had gotten it without and put the TRD one on. Got TRD springs, struts, and exhaust, might as well have the Strut bar toooo.

My dealer charges $200 for the TRD front strut tie bar and $225 for the Hotchkis one. I decided to save the 25 bucks and get the TRD, plus the blue bar looks cool inside my Polar White.

It's $126 before shipping (add state tax for NC folks) from toyotaparts4u.com

go with the JIC strut bar, it is sturdy and will not bend if you put your weight on it. It is very stiff and clean SS .
