Default Are stock tC tires slippery on wet weather? POLL!

I am afraid to drive my tC in wet weather. My car hydroplanes all the time in the wet weather. I was wondering if others are haveing this problem, or is it just my car? Do we need another set of tires besides the factory ones? Or should Scion give us different tires?

Is it the tires? Is it the light weigh of the car? Is it the suspension? Is it the lowering springs?

Our tires suck in the wet. I lose traction often in the wet. So i have to drive slowly or else ...

It rained here today and my car felt like I was driving on ice. Reeeeeeally creepy.

I drove in the rain yesterday going 65-80mph on the freeway. Didn't feel any loss of traction.

I have the stock tires still and i havent seen any problem in rain so far. It rained a lot here too! But i have noticed sometimes they do lose grip in normal driving conditions. I was trying to pass another person i punched it...and i felt like i wasnt going anywhere! the tires lost their grip! that ____ed me off because i could have wrecked into the wall that was oncoming..i was like AHHH!! but i made it.

I havent had any bad experiences in the rain (yet), but Ive had quite a few near death experiences in the snow. Im just too cheap to change the tires out yet because I am still recovering from the down payment.

The stock tC tires suck A@#. I have nothing positve to say about them except that they are tires. This morning it rained in Nor Cal and the ground was wet, I took a turn at about 35mph and I could feel the rear of the car slipping a little. When I can afford new tires/rims, I'm gettin some!

I had the same problem too so I got my self new Fuzion ZRi Tires. There Cheap and Grip the road way better than the RE92's and better in the rain.

My tires sucked in the rain. Then I learned how to properly drive in the rain. Now they are fine.
