Default *update*16x8 +26 pics on car!!

finally got the tires on so i decided to mount them on the car. i know, i know, it needs to be dropped. i have coilovers sitting in my room, but didn't install them because my car is being serviced tomorrow and from what i heard they don't accept lowered cars so i will wait till my next day off to install them. so, please no "needs to be dropped" comments! lol

there is no need to roll anything, you can drop the car to max and still not rub, about the tires I would get 195-50-16, Sean

what would be the proper offset for a 16x7.5 front and 16x8.5 or 9 in the rear there is another set of rims i am lookin at but i didn't recieve a reply on the offset yet.
these look sick, bro. get em.

Those rims look coo...! I don't know if you're interested, but I think SSR has an updated version of those rims now (sk2r or something), I see them in the latest Japanese magazines. I'm having trouble finding more info on them, though. SSR hasn't updated their website in a while (I heard they went bankrupt or something?!).

I'm almost sure that you will have rubbing issues with the 16x8 ET26 and either of your tire selections, the 205/40 or 195/45.

Look at the Sticky - FAQ: Wheel Fitment
the 16x7 ET 33 with 205/55 tires had rubbing. Your proposed wheels and tires have a lot greater increase in Inboard & Outboard than that combination.

here is the link.
i tried on the 16x9 on the front when i took the rims off. i was wondering about getting a set of the 16x9 all around so i HAD to try it on and it fit w/ the spacer. now that i think about it, i didn't try and lock the wheel side to side, just rolled on it around my parking lot a little, so it may rub....hmmm, i wonder.......

I have a 17x8+25 in the front and they WILL rub the fenders. Although airride is gettin installed, the fenders will sit on the sidewalls. The rears are wider and a lower offset and I WILL have to camber the back AND cut the fenders. Yes, I said cut cuz no one here in CHicago can roll the fender. It dose seem to me the rear fenders inner and out skin is welded to gether. don't know what I want to do yet.
