What problems are you having? If you post some specifics, perhaps we can help.

I recently purchased and installed a sustec strut bar .The installation was easy except i was'nt sure if i should preload it or not .I called tanabe and they did'nt seem to think it mattered. Does anybody have any ideas on that.

The "factory" brace requires no preloading, just unloading the wheels so you can get the nuts off the struts and push them down into the strut towers. You retighten in the wheel-unloaded position.

I am not sure what you mean , if I retighten the bolts in the unloaded position ( car jacked up) and then I lower my car back down the strut tower bar will then have pressure applied to it. Is this not preload.

As it is now , I tightened the bolts up when the car was on the ground so it is in a neutral position.
