Default Which is a better fit?

I had to start a new topic as the other one was getting too flustered...

These are my two options for wheels:
18"x7.5" +35 offset
18"x8" +29 offset

My goal is to bring the wheel out a little bit from where the stock wheel sits without going too far out and without anything rubbing. Will the 8" option above work or would I need a different offset for the wheels not to be out too far? I might be able to get the wheel with a different offset but I need to know what range I should go for.

18x7.5 +35 no problems

18x8 29+ better stance, more agressive look , I personally would go this route
