Default Tein WAGON dampers

I was looking into getting some JDM Tein Type WAGON Dampers for my xB. But, on all the application lists, there is nothing for the bB/xB. The closest thing is the Toyota Echo. Will the coilovers for the Echo wit without problem on my Scion??? Please help if you have any clue!!!

I believe the Tein Wagons from Japan are the same setup as the Tein Basics available here. Check with squirrel on the exact differences as he has the Wagons from Japan on his xB.

Man, I wish this was posted up friday before I left. The WAGON coilovers I have, have softer spring rates than the Basics. But, I now have a full set of custom TEIN sporings for my xB so the ride is not as cushy as some know when they rode in my xB.

I was at TEIN yesterday and could have asked them if the Echo fitment would work on the xB.

If there is a difference, it'll be in the shock/strut length and spring rates.

if you want a different spring rate you can always get different spring rates for the Basics...

I'm running 5kg in the rear on a shortened spring, and 3.2 kg up front, also on a shortened spring. I can now go an inch lower than what I was at and have a firmer ride in back for better handling since there was no way I was going to find a true rear sway bar.

Custom springs or remove the rear locking perches so you can get that extra .5 - 1 inch.

I removed the smaller of the two rear collars to get more of a level "sit" when I had the original springs in. I put both collars back on when I got my new springs.

Aireck, I can go lower now, but the fenders will sit on the rims and won't be drivable.
