Hi, i'm hoping you guys/gals can help me out with few questions for suspension for an xB. I'm looking for the stiffest coilovers without having to order custom spring rates. I currently have the Tanaba SOC2 and they are extremely soft compared to stock. I like the adjustability of the height and would like to stick with coilovers. Any suggestions?

Also looking for stiffer than stock lowering spring. Height isn't too much of a concern as long as they are stiffer than OE (which is decent). This one's for another xB.

get some springs off of ebay , the "ghetto" sleeve type coilovers those are very stiff.

Tanabe makes replacement springs for your coil overs!

Just get new springs for that...

i guess i can do that. i hope its only the spring rate which is making the ride soft. if not the dampening of the struts is too low, then i'll have to change the whole setup. thanks.

 

I know the TRD shocks and springs have a stiff ride ... I have them on my xB and the ride is alittle more stiff then stock ...

yes i was being serious but i forgot that the springs will be too short up front.

 

You have alot of options...

You can get spring rates that are stiffer then what is on there now and softer...

you can get springs that have a longer free length or shorter as well as longer spring stroke or shorter...

I can get you any Tanabe spring you want... im not to far from you in Duarte...
