Torque steer

my xb so far is completly stock and the first thing i think im gonna do is upgrade the suspension. Does anyone else notice the Torque steer in first and second gear? is it just the way the suspension is set up or the steering system? what types of springs or shocks would i need to get rid of this? also i dont want to lower it too much, maybe an inch and a half at the most. thanks in advance

i went with eibach because of their reputation. i just don't have the funds to test out which springs are better for me.
my plan is to overcome the understeering by adjusting damping force. a stiffer setup in the back will promote some oversteering to counter out the understeer. i don't kno if you have plans for dampers, though.

torque steer shouldn't have much to do with springs. It comes largely from havign different length half shafts to each wheel, and the open differential doesn't help either.
fixes could incude a limited slip diff and maybe stiff axels.
but really, you just have to deal with it.
Now, if you had a Neon SRT4, they use equal length halfshift with an LSD stock, so you wouldn't have this problem.
