I wont use them, seem too cheap for such a low drop. I have heard they are very stiff and not fun to ride in, compared to STOCK.

 

Well I dont' have em' but I was looking into them. I don't care about the price, a spring is a spring. Only thing that concerns me is the spring rate being the so high. But since they aren't progressive I wonder if it all balances out.

 

If I had money to waste on JUST springs i'd get them or the tanabe df210's , people should stop going poo on megan products theyre all pretty damned good in my book.

 

I've got the Megan Racing Strut Tower Bar and it's a nice piece of work.

I've got them and like them. Not too stiff or choppy. Improves handling greatly.I learned one thing a long time ago- just cause it costs more doesn't mean it is better.

 

I have them also and like them a lot. Not much different than stock.

That's right, if I'd wanted a soft mushy ride, I'd have bought a Cadillac!

 

i had them, swapped em out for tanabes. they were way to stiff, save up and get something better IMO, unless your going to autoX every weekend

 

how much of a drop did you get?

 

they list as 2.0 on xB and 1.8 on xA

^^^^It's 2 inches. I measured before and after I installed them.

 

i installed a set on my g/f xb. ride is slightly stiffer that stock, which is good since 90% of available suspension for the xb is extremely soft. She wanted a stiffer ride to increase handling vs a soft ride like my bro's xb. For the price and quality of the springs, i wouldn't recommend anything else. The drop is approximately 2" after fully settling.

 

take the megan springs, drive to the end of the earth, attach a bomb to them, then throw them off the cliff. megan racing is a joke.

 

WHY

 

because its not worth it. for a bit more money you can have good quality springs, HKS, or KG/MM. hell just save and buy full coilovers. i had a friend with megan strut bars on his 240. im not serious, you could literally grab the bar, and flex it, almost like it was made of rubber. it wasnt safe
