around 2.2 inches on stock shocks. Any lower and you risk bottoming out.

They have two types of springs available for our cars. H-techs and S-techs. H-techs lower around 1-1.2 inches, S-techs lower 1.6-1.7. Both use progressive type front springs.[/quote]

oops, sorry that my last message missed your input. OK, so I understand

I think I should go with the Tein S tech... I have seen them and they are pretty well spoken about ride-wise

OK, I'm located in the Miami area. Any suggestions for where to buy a set of S Techs at best price/fastest to get here?

Would like to have got 'em on, you know, like -yesterday-.

-thanks again to you all.

To all above. Done!

The title of the thread is updated because I soaked in your inputs
and the then found the resource section here at Scionlife with the reviews.

This one is about the Goldline brand springs and it sold me on Goldlines:
https://www.scionlife.com/parts/?part=10420

From there I went to the Goldline company webpage.
I called the tollfree number. I spoke to CRAIG.
He's a good, friendly guy! I asked where to buy from, and it turned out
that it is best in this case at this time to just get from a CA vendor.

model number GTS-0804 is for our xB's. Two inch drop front and rear

Craig refered me to RoBear Racing (in Ca.) because Rob of RoBear
had just been there to the plant and picked up the last set of 0804 from stock.

"He's competitive on price"

So I called Rob a few minutes ago. He has customer planning to install this particular set into a on Sunday. But if that sale/install falls through Rob will
send them on to me for $150 plus shipping, which add about 20 or 25 bucks.

So I told Rob: yes, send me that set if it becomes available OR just put me down for the next available set (could be two weeks lead time for the next run of Goldline 0804's

-SO, I'll kick back and know that as soon as my springs are ready to ship, I'll be emailed and have a tracking number. I've given my card info but it won't be charged until the springs ship.

OK to let this thread sink. I'll post again after I get springs installed, mit pictures!

-obliged to you all-

=====from the Goldline.com tips page===

TRIM the front end BUMP STOPS one inch shorter, cutting from the top (see picture)

GPS-0804 Scion XA & XB 'o4,'05 cut 1.00"

===you do this to restore a bit of the lost two inches of suspension travel

Goldlines are progressive rate springs, as are all good lowering springs
Goldlines are made entirely in the USA
