Default Man, you guys with the Tein S Springs make me...

Want to change out my TRD springs for a set of them. I like the drop. \

I'm just afraid I will scrap on things. With my TRD's I scrap on nothing at all. Do you?

The green color is fugly though... Are they bouncy, like mini truck bouncy? Also another fear.

well, i love the ride... the S-Techs have a slightly higher ride in the rear than in the front... (1.7 inch drop F, 1.5 inch drop R) it's nice because my exhaust canister is so large the extra height matters... and as long as you're driving cautiously you wont scrape. just take those sharp inclines and declines at an angle...

when i had my box i had s-techs on it, i scraped once on a very steep driveway. I also had 4 passengers in it to. so you dont have to worry to much. Just take inclines slowly.

No scrapes so far, I even hit some speed bumps today on purpose to see if I would scrape , I hit them straight as an arrow and no problem and I love the ride !
to me better than stock!

I wish I could compare the ride between the TRD's I have now and the Teins. Maybe I'll wait until a meet or something and get a ride from someone with teins.

My TRD's seem to be getting bouncer. Might also be my imagination, I don't know...

Go with Hotchkis. You get a 1.6" drop so it's not as low as most 2" slam jobs and you won't scrape anything, but still lower than 1" TRDs. They come with urethane bump stops, so no cutting ot trimming the stock ones.

All that and the ride is better than stock. Can't go wrong.

I've noticed the TRD Springs have settled alot more since I put them on about a year ago. The first 6 months it still seemed to settle. Now I think it has just settled fully. I am still not as happy with the drop as I think I'd be if I had the S-tech's. But the winter would blow a bit. The rear seems to have settled more though, then the fronts. That kinda ____es me off.

Can be. It's hit or miss. I have a small rub when I turn the front wheels with a 215/45/17 with 7" rim and 35 mm offset. Sounds a lot worse than it is. Most say they don't have any rubbing.
