Default DC FRONT STRUT BAR

Does anyone know how the DC Sports front strut bar is compared to the TRD or the hotchkis strut bars

dont know about the DC bar, but the Hotchkis and the TRD are really flimsy and mainly for looks. Just put your hand on the top and watch it flex. I honestly think my stainless strut bar is the strongest one around.

I just recently installed the DC Sports strut bar, and it's strong, and sturdy as hell! BTW it's a good deal! I got mine at www.optauto.com :D

I saw a TRD bar last weekend... pretty cheezy! They used a "U" shape bar instead of a boxed piece.

For the cost of any of these, I'll build my own from 4130 chrome molly and save a bunch of $$$.

i've had the cs-2 on my car for about a month now and its really sturdy like someone said above... i can shake the car from the strut bar... i think the hotchkis one actually felt like it was gonna bend when i did it at the dealership. dc sports makes good stuff and i think its one of the cheapest strut bars around (optauto.com). i would've gotten the trd, but the blue ain't my color and it looks like it was made in metal shop at some high school. looks hella plain, dc sports cs-2 looks really nice and it's pretty damn strong. and for 83 bucks, you can't beat it for the quality.

heres the bar that I build. Its 1 1/4" diameter square tubing, 1/8" wall thickness, and the end brackets are 3/16" plate. All stainless steel, with the welds ground down. Its surgical grade.

I have the DC Sports Strut bar on my xB. It is a nice piece, and strong as hell to. I got it for $83 too. Can't beat that price. I recommend it to everyone :D .
