Default TRD Springs

I know I posted this message before, but when I went back to look at replies, I could not find it. So I will post is again

I e-mail my dealer and asked for the price of TRD Lowering Springs Installed. He gave me a price of $727.70$ , that includes installation. That seems like alot to me. I wrote back and he said it was expensice because they would have to "drop the struts on the car to do the installation and then the car must be aligned" Not sure what that means.. but has anyone had lowering springs installed?? I am interesed in knowing how much u paid

thats way too much... the most you should pay is around 180 for the springs and like 200 for dealer install and alignment.. and thats still alot... dealers are a rip off

Default At $727 you would be looking at close to nine hours billed!

9 hours of labor billed at Scions flat labor rate? If it takes your dealership that long to install springs they need to send their techs back to school. I am a sales manager and do not pretend to be a tech, but it only took me an hour to install ours!

Ditto... I paid $450 installed. 'Bout had a cow when they told me $260 labor AFTER they were installed. Could have paid the guys in the club a lot less, had I known at the time.

I have about 1700 miles on my XA, and the TRD springs are finally giving a comfortable ride. They were stiff as a buckboard, at first, but have softened up nicely. I really like them alot now, though I wish they were an inch lower.
