back stock bumper 2 pieces?
thats one of those questions like
If a tree falls in a forest and ....... you know.
i think its to save cost of the lip. if you damage one you can just buy one side. look at the Corolla S and the Camry SE with the optional TRD lip kit. its a 6 piece kit not the usual 4 you would see on a regular car

The reason is that the bumper would scrape the truck when getting off it for initial delivery. By having it in two pieces, it will fit inside the car. It is stored in the floor behind the front seats. The bumper is assembled at the dealer. If you see xBs on initial delivery at the dealer, you will notice the bumper is not installed.

Yeah, I thought about that, too. I am not sure why they did it, but they did. Perhaps it's more secure this way and less prone to bouncing around and getting scratched up.

i have to debunk it...
the front bumper skirt is one piece and about the same size as the rear.
if they can do it for the front, they can do it for the rear.
yes the skirts are installed either at port or dealer depending...
