Default price on shaved door handles.

The place near me said around 150 per door. Is that reasonable. I don't know how much it costs. Also for suicide doors how much does that cost.

$150 for what? to weld in filler plates, to bodywork, to repaint, to hook up the actuators? there is alot of work involved to shave the handles, $150 bucks wont even cover the actuators. yes there are actuators for cheep but stay away from those, autoloc are the best. i got 50lb autoloc actuators and have had no problems.

Any good shop that makes sure its done right will charge $150- $180 per door for the popper setup. I know I spent about 2 hours on each door to make them perfect.

Body wise sucks becuase scion metal is so thin welding is a very slow process....

If your near Philly Ill do it for you pretty cheap.

Hell yah scion metal SUCKS! took like an hour to weld up 1 handle "tack...let cool...tack...let cool...etc..." welded all without any warping "well untill stupidity took over" did them in december cold out...well i pulled out of the shop before the drivers side doors cooled completly! well warm door cold air = big azz warp in the drivers door. scared the ____ out of me when it popped! oh well alittle metal shrinking and all will be good ! another life lesson! To whoever asked about how much i payed...welded them myself and my brother is doing the bodywork and paint so my only cost was like $250. for the actuator set"remote" autoloc. and prolly about$650.00 for (bondo, primer, sealer, paint) and that is paint to redo the whole truck "a few custom colors" ppg paint..

My paint shop was going to charge $100/door plus the actuators. I decided against it because I figured it would just be too much of a pain in the ___ for a daily driver, especially since I have kids.
