Default OK Last Rims Question From Me....Which ones.....

No more rim questions, after this one, sorry for being such a pain the last few days, I need to finalize my decision.

OK so I have decided to stick with the rims that I love and get the R1 GTR-6, I love these wheels....

So here is my problem, there are three different colors, I don't want the white but I added it so you can see the contrast. I either want the bronze or the silver. Which ones would look better on the RS1?

I do not want these TRD's, I just posted the pic so you can see the Orange on the same page as my rim choices.

Bronze on the Left, Silver on the Right, White on the Bottom

Thanks again,
Doc

Silver all the way. Don't go bronze or white on the orange unless you plan to incorporate that somehow thru-out your ride. Silver looks good all the time and you won't have to worry bout contrast.

Have you seen em in person? What shade is the bronze? dark/yellowish?

My vote would be for the SILVER ....... Personally I am still going nuts trying to find my rims .... Doc, the silver is a very nice contrast against the Orange, it will offset the grill very nicely also it matches some of the interior trim pieces, if you swap out the stock back tail light lens then if you have a small trim ring around those lights, it will also flow well with that item ... I hope that makes sense ...

Default SILVER SILVER SILVER

Why? they match the bilet grill.

Everyone forgets that the RS1 has a billet not color-matched grill

Headlights (silver) Fogs (silver)

Interior trim around the center (silver)

The optional door step cover thingies (silver)

Are you seeing a theme here?

SILVER RIMS

Bronze too dark in real life (they used a flash or something in that picture.
R1 bronze is BRONZE

White: too CIVICKY in this style. WOuld look good in this style on a BOP

The problem is that the pics were not taken in more natural lighting. They all look very similar, hell, even the white doesnt look white. Doc, all i can tell you is that im going with the BSA 259s in silver, they should be here by this time next week. Chrome is too much, black chrome/bronze is too dark IMO, and the white would be too hard to clean.

Hey CB ~ Nice choice in rims ..... I had them on my hit list, but decided to have some Boyd Coddington Rims custom made - Question, are you paying less than 589.00 for the rims and tires with free shipping ? These are 17's / 18's are a few dollars more ....
