Default Looking For Springs ASAP

i'm looking for some lowereing springs for my bone stock PW xB that i just bought. i did a search but couldn't come up with good results. i'm looking for spring that will provide a decent ride with the lowest drop from a reputable manufacturer. the wheel gap is getting to me and i want to get rid of it.

I'm on a limited budget so high dollar coilovers is out of the question. if anybody has any used, let me know.

if anybody has any pics for me to use as a reference, please post.

You must not have searched that hard. A simple scroll down page ONE would have yielded some decent answers

TEIN S-techs and Goldlines are nice. I have TEIN S-techs and RS*Rs in stock also. Contact Steve (bBist) or Robear local sales.

I have a photo of the goldlines since i had them on my own vehicle.... does anyone have photos of the springs themselves installed on an xB i can see? namely the Tein, RSR's mentioned in this thread. I'd like to take a look at the springs compressed on the vehicle.

thanks in advance

Jeff

here is a photo of the goldlines with the compressed 4 top coils... installed ...with no cargo.

BTW... this is NOT what they should be doing. Hell why not cut your stock coils, or use pep boy/autozone compression clamps and get your 2"s of lowering. All those dead coils means...they are NOT supporting your vehicle. 4 coils is entirely too much. The spring coiling rates are off.

Just about every spring on an xB will have that many deady coils.

I love my RS*R springs, but I think I want to sell or trade them for some Tanabe DF210s

^^False information. Like LilBlkBox said, every spring set you buy will have dead coils just like this. This is indeed how it should look.

Oh, and since I didn't add anything useful to this thread...Tanabe DF210's for 2.2" drop in the front and 2" drop in the rear. I got mine for $166 shipped online.

sorry. your wrong. the only reason the teins ride fairly decent is because they go wide and the coils fold in on themselves. they should not be laying on one another for 4 springs

progress/partshipper springs. notice really only 2 springs together. if you look at the top backside by looking into the spring...you see the top part seperated.

so...no...they are NOT suppose to sit 4 coils laying on one another..

this is a very nice comfortable ride as well.

Go hotchkis if you're on a budget and want some good springs. trdsparks has em for like $130+shipping. IMO you can't beat that for a brand new set of springs.
