Who has taken the black window trim off off their box? I would like to see some pics of the xB with the window trim gone. I did the two front windows of my PW xB today and it looks 100 x's better, IMO. I will post my pic later tomorrow when it's nice and sunny outside.

 

 

i removed all of em on mine. including the piece between the front and rear doors on the b pillar door jamb itself

Damn, thanks for the pics. You've got the same rims I want, too!! I need to take the trim off of the back windows today. How did you guys take them off?

i had a friend help me also a blow dryer and some sticker remover thing....heat the edge where you want to start peel it slowly then the other person can spray the adhesive remover and hold the blow dryer while you slowly pull....then when it comes to the end wherr its inside the window just keep heating it up and wiggle...becarefull not to tear it. fingers come all sore after though

i'd like to see someone take off the upper frame but leave the black vinyl on the verticle portions. if that makes any sense. hmmm

All of them look damn good. I like the idea of leaving the vertical parts, too.

 

i took all mine off, pain in the @$$, fingers still hurt, i think there must be any easier way, but i love the way it looks now... i'll have to take some pics of it tomorrow...

 

I'm right in the middle of taking mine off of my BCP. Got the front doors done but it got too dark to see what I was doing.
The tape next to the window is a real pain , gonna break out the razor blade and clean it up tomorrow. Let me tell you,
It looks so much better with the paint showing as opposed to the cheap azz tape.
I'll post pics of the process tomorrow night.

I started mine today. At first the tape by the window was a pain in the ___ but i found an easier way. Roll down the windows and grab the top corner of the window gasket it will pull out and then you can get it off a little easier. The back corners of the rear doors still suck tho.

 

Since I started this thread I might as well post my pics, right? I still haven't gotten around to do the rear windows yet, but here are the fronts. I decided to throw in a couple of my LED vent mod as well.
