Ive heard of alot of problems with the Easy Street Kits from numerous People Including myself..

go to there site and sign up on there forum as well.. The contact they had there jeff looks like he no longer works there so stuff isnt getting taken care of..

My Rear Drivers Bag popped because they had sent me the old design and mounts versus the newer style that fixed theer problems.. And I shipped it to them and they lost it..

Email Corey Rossier he is the sales manager of there.. I explained my situation to him and he got me a new bag and new mounts to replace everything in 2 days after emailing him..

There has been several complaining of the "thud" noise in the front and not just for Xb's check out there forum theres several with toher vehicels with the same problem...

I personally think the design is flawed and they should have used regualar bellowed style bags versus the sleeve =\

When I called up and ask them about this they told me one of the orignal designs was with the bellows but they deceided to go with sleeve instead..

Good luck with it!

Airlift tech support sucks. The only way your going to get it fixed is to figure it our your self and make them send you new parts.

If I were you i'd make them send you new struts. They really seem to have trashed those struts with there new powdercoating. There first problems was they had the struts that would bind. it was caused by them overheating the struts and trashing the internal vavles in the strut. Your problem could be realated to that. Struts that are shot can make clunking noises and such.

I went through 6 of those struts before they could get me 2 that worked. I had to basically show my ___ before i got those. Just force them to send you new struts and I bet it solves your problem, no matter what Jeff says.

I dont think Jeff works there anymore Spider,, At least thats what people are saying..

I received my New Rear Bag the Other day along with 2 new mounts and a fittings kit.. They only sent me a Check for the return of the bag 0_o which is really odd it was prob there error.. Im going to call them monday and explain the whole situation to them.. Just from the amount of problems they have been having with the fronts im going to order from EAI for the Front..

They are moving forward if Jeff is gone. I think he was one of the biggest problems there.

I really like mine since I got them to work, now that they work, I wouldn't trade them for cylinders for the world, but that's me. It took a ton of work and hours on the phone to get it all to work. But Matt from Gauge Mag, is the only real reason I have working parts, I diffently recommend them for any parts you need in the future, he will actually get you what your need and take care of your problems.

Doesn't sound like spider is having problems now that they are working. Once ya tweak with everything, then you should be good to go. Sounds they ride a whole hell of a lot better than cylinders. I'm getting the Easy Street front suspension cuz I trust it more than anything else, plus I don't really go with any of the stories here of anyone else, cuz who knows what most of these people's experience on air suspension is. I got a buddy in my club who knows the guys at FBI so I am not too worried about not getting the help I need when I need it.

I know people like to down on airbagit parts, but I am installing a set of these bags on a mazda tomarrow, these parts looked pretty impressive, clean welds and strudy materials, we'll see if I am still impressed tomarrow.

Best bet would be to call Easy street up and get them to send you a new pair porter..

I dont have the fronts yet but im going to take my chance with them.. Ive been talking with corey and they just sent me the newly designed rear bags and mounts and i love them.. With the factory shocks in the back I sit 1/2 lower then the first set of bags they sent me.. Once i get the Lower shocks i should be right there with having the kit on the ground. i cant wait!

From the way it looks and the recent problems I think ES is starting to really fix there issues.. and more power to them if they are

but porter like i said call easy street up and ask for them to swap them out with some new ones.. Theres lots of people on there forums with the same problems and it appears to be from them messing the struts up with the powder coating possibly, like spider said

Good luck with it! and let us know how it all works out!

Those guys are tryin to get me to drive up there. I still live like 6 hours away. I have the same problem. I think it's a faulty strut shaft. My right strut make a bit more noise then the left, but that could also be the roads here too. The noise wosrens the higher up the car is to. That's why I beleive it's the strut.

i hear ya. i keep asking them if there's a car show near me but there isn't. maybe that would be a better option for you. they go to alot of shows and could look at it there. i am confident with the air setup it just has that problem with the rattle. i am going to the nopi nationals in ga in sept. i just want the noise gone for a three day drive ya know!

Default EasyStreet Scion Design Improvements...

Hey guys,

My name is Aaron Lundy I am the EasyStreet Program Manager and a few of my guys that monitor this forum have brought this post to my attention and it is alarming to my self and the other managers at the company.

I have read through everyone's post and I will try to respond to as many points that I picked out. If I missed something I apologize in advance please E-mail me with specific questions or problems, or just re-post here.

In regards to Jeff no longer being an employee with Air Lift Company, everyone is correct. However that does not mean that you as our customer are not going to be taken care of. In fact we still have a great group of guys here that will bend over backwards for you.

I am especially puzzled by the comment that "Air Lift customer service sucks" If someone can please give me specific circumstances I will address them. I feel that we do a pretty good job trying to take care of the customer yet keep our doors open.

Regarding the struts making noises, we are a manufacture of automotive aftermarket we ARE going to have problems. Just like GM, FORD, even Toyota.. We finally have a vehicle in the shop right now that we can actually use to try and fix some of these issues you guys are having. Ironically this customer has about 10,000 miles on the kit and loves it.... Go figure!

As most of you know by now we have recently discovered that some of the batches that were being powder coated were causing internal damage to the strut, which were causing the sticking issues. This problem has now been rectified and will no longer be an issue. Some of the noise issues may also be caused by a contamination to the oil from heat. We will let you guys know as soon as we do some more testing.

If the oil is deemed an issue we may be able to figure out a re-work program where you could send in your old struts and we can change out the oil. Like I said before we won’t know the root cause until we complete our testing this week or next.

Like I said before, I apologize if I missed something, but I will try and respond to all questions. At the end of the day WE are all enthusiast just like you guys we ALL drive bagged cars or trucks and we expect to be taken care of just like you guys do. My goal as the program manager it to run our department like we want to be treated when we buy something... If anyone feels they are not being taken care of to their satisfaction please contact me directly and I will try to resolve the situation.

Thanks again for your continued support and I am confident we will get these issues resolved. Sorry for the novel but I want you guys to know how important these issues for us. Without you guys the customer we are nothing.

Please feel free to contact me directly.

the guys over at easy street have been more than patient with me calling them every week especially brian. i know there are always bugs to be worked out on new products, at least they are trying to fix the problem and not blowing us off like some other companies i know of. thanks for the post and we'll wait for more testing results!

My biggest problems with airlift was the customer service. Jeff was always rude, never returned phone calls, and never had anything useful to say about fixing the problems I was having with the front struts locking. I never could get anything done until I called Matt at Gaugemag. I tired for 2 weeks to get replacement parts, matt got them overnighted to me in about an hour. Thats the kind of crap customers hate to be put through. I like my airlift stuff on my car now(ie. it works), but I am building a full size chevy, and I am very sure there will be no airlift on it since I have no time to deal with that crap again.
