I to have been wanting to to "Drop my Box" but living in Buffalo NY I was thinking of going with coilovers so I could raise it back up in the winter.

I HAVE THE TEIN S TECHS AND THE RIDE IS GREAT. IF YOU DONT DROP IT ENOUGH YOU MIGHT LOOK AT IT AND FEEL SORRY. I HAVE A BIG SYSTEM AND USUALLY HAVE ONE OR TWO FRIENDS RIDING WITH ME AND ITS NO PROBLEM AND I STILL HAVE MY STOCK SHOCKS.
First:

Second:
I have 2 kids and drive my box everyday with a 2" drop, and I used to be on 18's. The springs I have (Goldlines) actually ride better than stock in my opinion.
Partshippers.com has Progress Tech springs now that are supposed to ride even better then Goldlines with the same amount of drop.

I have goldlines. They ride fine until you hit the big bumps. Car has 17s and I noticed big difference in ride 'quality' after the drop when I hit a rough patch of road. I would think with 18s it would be a even worse. Might want to try the Tein H which I believe is about a 1" drop but can't vouch for them.
