Default Scion XB Black Mesh Grill from Ebay

I recieved this item from ebay, just wanted to tell you guys its a piece of garbage so don't buy it.
1)It's very Heavy
2)It's made of some really cheap dense metal
3)The paint is chipping
4)It was a pain in the ___ to install because it didnt fit right, I had to bend a lot of the pieces.
So spend the extra money and buy a grillcraft or something nicer.

I just uninstalled it, if you dont mind a heavy ___ grille then its ok, honestly it weighed like 5 lbs
compared to something that didnt weigh anything that I took off
I am trying to modify it as we speak, the back piece is what weighs it down, I am trying to just put the mesh part up without the back piece with some different brackets. Either way, go for the grillcraft instead and save yourself a headache.

It looks like the mesh sport grill that comes with the RS2.0s just painted black. That would explain the chipping to.

If your interested in a Mesh grille you should check out Sport Scene's Speed Grille. It is damn close to the RS2.0 grille. There is a thread somewhere here that has the link to it. I'll see if I can find it.

EDITED TO ADD LINK

Here is the link that has the Street Scene Speed Grille

From 4caroption.com

But I've got crappy stuff from them before, so I passed. And the price seemed too good to be true.

I want the real RS2.0 one.

I was going to be ordering the two lower one to match them to my 2.0 grille but if it didn't match exaclty I was thinking of ordering the Upper grille as well and possibly selling my 2.0 grill.

Here's a DIY thread from "lowbox". I don't think he's on here anymore, but his custom hood and grill were the envy of all for a while.

He used WalMart rain gutter grating for his grill. Came out super nice.
