Default Quick Carbon Fiber Hood Question

Do any of them have the holes for the windshield liquid? If not is that something that can be easily done. Thanx

if not you can always tape over and drill, as you would do when installing hood pins

Cool. No real damage over time to the hood for drilling?

Not if you get the special drill bit for CF. You can always add a sealant on the edges.

Wind will blow a hood up, not horsepower. If you've ever seen a hood blow up, you'd understand why it's not a bad idea. It's about your faith in the latch mechanism, The one bolted to a metal hood is generally stronger than the one riveted to CF and/or FRP.

ANyway, back on topic, many hoods will come with the holes or they can be drilled. Another option is to mount them on the cowling that surrounds the wipers or what I plan to do is mount them on the wiper arms.
