Default Anyone running 19" TRD's?

I am in the final process of getting ready to get my xB but I am wondering if anyone is running the TRD 19's and if they have any rubbing at all, The dealer says no but they will say anything to get you to buy the car pretty much.

I would not think it would rub being a factory option and all but you never know.

Dealer told me you have no warranty on the wheels/tires if you go with 19's because they may rub or something.... :?:

Yes, the 18"'s look nice, they are charging me the same for 19's as the 18's (1999.00) so I am trying to find a pic of one rolling on 19's so compare the two to see how they look but I have not been able to find any pics of an xB running the TRD 19's as of yet.

Default 19" TRD Wheels

I have been driving an xB with the TRD 19" since December and there is a very small rub on each of the front inner fenders (the plastic part). It is very small and not annoying at all. You can look at my post in the registy and see what the car looks like with the wheels on it. I like the way the car looks and the way that the car handles. The only down fall is that lowering the car is pretty much out of the question with the 19's unless you want a pretty serious rub.

You may be able to pick up a little clearance by heating the offending bulge with a heat gun and reshaping the bulge away from the tire. Better this than wearing a hole in the plastic, which is your corrosion barrier.

Did they tell you anything about thr 19's will voice the powertrain warrenty? I ended up going to another dealer today and they told me the 19's would void it and also that they would be an additional $350 to install so $2350.00 is too rich for my budget financed or not.

I ended up getting a blue onyx speed withjust a cargo cover and some floor mats and I will find my own freakin rims.

I am pretty sure they are the Racing Hart GT5's and I went to Town Fair Tire and they want $1499.00 for them mounted so I may go that route if I can't find anything cheaper.

I tell you with all the BS they make you go through at the dealer you would think at 'Toyota University' as they tell me they go to would have made it so they all get the same story, I mean I have been to three dealers all telling me different BS so I give up on the 19's and may just go with 18's as they all told me it will not void the warrenty because its not worth the risk for me atleast until the warrenty is up.

MSRP for the 18's is $1795 I believe, $1999 for TRD 18's is outragous....
