If your talking about the rear shims, i dont think so. I cant recall ever seeing this being an issue. I have had mine on for over a year now, and i havent had any problems.

don't paint them!!!!

if you add paint to the mating surfaces IT WILL throw off the alignment.
they will not rust, and you barely see any of it

You won't see them unless you are purposely looking. You will be the only one that knows unless someone is purposely looking.

It is a subtle change that makes a big difference to you. Most people will look at the bling of your car before saying, "Hey, do you have OTG spacers install?"

Good to hear, besides you can't see them anyway. Paint the drum if you must paint something. :D

Some say to get an alignment, and some say not to. I did. Anytime I mess w/ the suspension, I get an alignment.

Why?

I would rather pay $60 for an alignment than $300+ for tires a few months down the line.

When I installed the OTG rear shims, it pulled slightly to the right. Then when I added the rear camber, it really pulled to the right.

There will soon be some shims available thru 886motorwerx that will address a number of the rear axle problems. The R&D is coming along slowly, thanks in part ot my pending op.

Sounds like a real problem, since there is no adjustment in the rear. Hope that was taken care of, you wouldn't want any real problems with tire wear,in the rear, down the road.
