I took a 2000 mile road trip. Went on a dirt road behind a 250 power stroke. It shot a rock up and cracked my window. The crack is about an arms length. Anybody know how much it will cost for a new window? I am in Vegas, if anybody knows where to go. Thanks

 

cant help you for anything in vegas, but it you are willing to make the trip down to L.A. there are millions of body shops that can do the job. When i was shopping around to fix the cracked windshield for my xB (when i still owned one) i got quotes from $300 to $450 for the replacement. you just gotta keep in mind that xB windshields are actually pretty expensive to repair because the high amount of curvature it has as opposed to other cars out there

 

if you have a pick you parts around you may find a crashed XB one for cheap .good luck

 

Most full coverage insurance policies cover windshield replacement with no deductible.

 

you should also check with your insurance if they cover that sort of stuff..

 

i got this a Diamond Fusion windsheild installed when i bought the car it puts a lifetime warrenty on the windsheild and it is permantly rain x'ed cool huh

 

Where did u find this DF windshield and can i ask how $$$$??

 

it was like 600 and i got it at the dealership when i bought my car
