Winter/Summer question
Is it necessary to change your tires and rims if you have low profile tires? I just bought some 225/40-18 and in the winter, is it a good idea to switch back to the factory tires? just curious..cuz of the changed air pressure and stuff.
If you just bought the tires Nate, you should *know* what the
rating on those tires are, right?
Or did you just buy them by how they looked?
Go look up your tires specs, and that will answer your question.
Chances are, they are going to be uber-dangerous if you see snow.
Rain-really depends on the tire design.

If your tires are rated M & S, they may have enough "All-Season" ability to get you through 4 to 5 inches of snow, however, if they are "Summer" wet/dry tires, you will need to get either some All-Season or Winter tires for the winter.
