Default LSD Install problems for Echo Hatch

The Echo Hatch in Canada has a C150N tranny

Now we had the tranny overhauled and found that the final drive had 6 bolts and that the LSD has 8 holes. Of course the holes don't line up.

The LSD that I purchased is TRD Part 41301-AW004. Now I was wondering if anyone have any ideas as to what I should do. Should I purchase the TRD final drive set with the 8 holes and pray that the output shaft will align with the gears (I am doubting it will). I am also curious if anyone on here knows if the final gear on the Scion has 6 or 8 holes (if there's 8 I might just drive down to US to find a tranny from a junk yard)

Thanks for your help

Sunny

This is odd. I would think the Canada Echo, would share the same tranny as all the other echos, xA & xB along with most of those other crazy cars that came from that platform. Now the final drive is diff in some of the range, so that might make some difference. I think my first choice would be calling up TRD & seeing what the hell is up. If the LSD says it will fit a echo, then it should fit. If you already did that, what kind of answer did they give you? Sorry I cant be much more help.

Not to sound stupid but do the 6 holes line up correctly with 6 of the 8 holes? if so you could just bolt it on using the 6 bolts and plug the other two holes.

Do anyone happen to know what's the tranny code of the xA/xB? Pls let me know, thanks!

Yup we gonna contact the TRD dealer where I bought the LSD from.
