still undecided on wether to buy a spoiler or not. i want to keep a very clean and modified look if that makes sense. also, something different than the oem style soiler. any suggestions? pics?

 

I'm having the same dilemna too...
OEM spoiler has the best "clean and modified look" but I don't want to have to drill holes in box. Other option is the Fabulous replica wing in carbon fiber. I think it only looks good with aggressive wheels and aggressive stance, plus I think CF only makes sense if you are modding for speed. There are other spoilers you can get from Japan, but most are quite aggressive and expensive too.

It all depends on what final look you hope to achieve in the future.....I am leaning towards OEM though

I put my OEM on and it's really not that hard, plus it comes painted, so you know it will match. As far as cleanliness, I think it's one of the best, definitely not overdone. The xB looks like it's missing something without it.

i'd go with no spoiler... plus there aren't too many choices i don't think. or just get a carbon fiber fab one... those look clean.

 

I have one. sweated thru the install, so I'm never taking it off. I like it on mine and many others, but my favorite box, a BCP w/ black JLines doesn't have one.

I think it's a matter of overall composition. less is definitely more w/ this car.

 

I think a nice wing and a little lip makes them a little more like a parallelogram than a square. Helps to be able to tell one end from the other too.

Has anyone ever bumped your head on the Fab spoiler? I came close and was flinching away from it for the first couple of weeks I had it on...

 

IMO it just looks naked without the OEM wing.

Street concepts.com sold me a fiberglass FABULUS type wing for $210.
Good price, $50 shipping across the country. No holes need to be drilled.
It is on it's way to me now. I will post photos and comments.
The OEM wing costs $380 or so and has a hole where the rain gets in.
It is not fabulus, but stubby.
eXciteBOX has a good looking wing, Where did you get it? And how much?
Install it yourself? Did you get it painted to match?

Mine will come "shiny white". What that means, I don't know.
