Wipers in bright colors and unusal wipers shown off here
red and yellow are said to clash.. but all of the yellow cars I see have red running lights and do not look so bad...
The neat thing about xb is that you can -get away with almost any strange thing and the car still looks -cute-. Hard to mess up an xB.
These are from Advance Auto Parts (local chain) and cost about 12 bucks each. Twin blades of graphited natural rubber.
Also demonstrated: that 18" long bladesets look better and fit better than OEM's 20" bladesets.
-If you have uh, neat wipers, show them off here-
even goofs are OK (incl. rear wiper jokes)

the OEM blades on the xB, at least, are all time bombs;
their splines waltz out on the passenger side set, and whip into the paint at the roofline.
previous threads explain all about that risk.
The OEM blades are inexcusable. The steel strips have ruined many paint jobs.

Speaking of odd colors, how do you like the -$20- Rally brand plastic wheel covers?
They're a snap to stick on and they stay put.
I paint my plastic covers with Krylon Fusion yellow spray paint.
That's a good paint for plastic or any surface, really.
It sticks well and is flexible and wet-sandable, too.
-this thread may belong in drag coefficient moreso than here? If so, please
let it stay here in general for a day or so most folks get to see it- thanks
-Rally covers: These came from the local Advance Auto parts retail store
15" rally part number 9636. They cover the valve stem. Just pop off the cover
to check your air. Don't mess with dangerous valve stem extensions 'cos those things
might flatten your tire.
If you've any other color car you might find a Krylon Fusion color to key or contrast to your color.
Of course, silver goes with all colors.
Red does not.

Just a concern about aftermarket wiper blades. Stay away from some of the specials which feature double rubber wiper blades. They can cause too much drag over the windshield thus overloading the wiper motor leading to prermature burnout of the wiper motor. However, yes, also be careful if you are still using the blades that come with the xB. The flat metal spline I have seen popping out of both of our xBs and that of tow other friends' xBs.
My husband has the red Scion steering wheel on his RS2. lol
Plus I have cf wipers on mine! NOT my choice either!!! I hate them!!! But my xB was his first! I HATE THEM!
You need more red tho if you're going yellow and red! JMO!
