Default going yo be really different, Lifting my XB

I think after I buy the new mustang im gonna do a 1-2" lift on my camo-scion get some 14' flat- black 4x100 steel honda wheels add some very small all terrains and add the factory mud flaps, add a beefy roof rack with large basket and bike racks add a small light bar with 2-6' hellas. Done! My neighbor has the imaculate H2 which he actually avoids rain puddels while driving. my lil xb almost has the same cargo capacity and gas milage HA HA at over $2.50 a gallon this summer while he pays over $100.00 dollars to fill his gas tank and gets 8mpg . you bet your ___ ill be going all over on mild trails with my dogs gettin dusty and having fun for 1/5 the price, ill look the same too only 1/5 the size.

damn, i was gunna do that a few months ago and go full out. 3" lift, side steps, mud wheels, and i was going to cut the front bumper in half and have those slanted metal protector plates. I took it too the shop and they wouldn't even touch my car. The only thing they sed was that it would slow it incredibly and they gave me all this ____ about the mcphearson struts. bastards

I have been hearing about a blue xB in Big Bear Lake California that is lifted. I think it might be owned or sponsored by a snow boarding company since it had stickers allover. My neighboor has seen it there several times and he said it looked nice...

Default would be a gas

I'd like to see that, I think it would be great... Kinda reminiscent of the Wombat...

If you don't know the Wombat was the Hummbug... the Humvee kit on a vw bug...

Not such a bad idea. A "rally look" scion would really look nice among all the slammed conformists.

Unfortunately, with tires you run out of wheel well clearance pretty fast.

I'm looking for a real roof rack too. Something more like the Con-ferr racks you see on Jeeps.

You might want to trim the skirts a bit to improve the "lifted" look.

Lights on the rack might be a bit over-the-top.

Don't get the idea that these mods will make the xB into an off-road vehicle. The underside is still rather fragile, and even with a couple of inches more ground clearance it will still be dicy in rough terrain.

I'd love to see this as well.

I have a sweet, lifted FJ40 with close to the same mods listed and have fantasized several times about transforming the xB into a "rally" box.
