Default Any xBs out there on FRONT bags or just REAR bags?

As the title states. I am looking for xBs with FRONT bags or with REAR bags. Not both! Just one or the other. If you have an xB with fronts and rears, good for you, i dont want it. I am looking for xBs with FRONT or REAR bags only. I dont know how to stress this. Please tell me what kit you have, hows the ride, and cost too if possibly. Also if youve encountered any problems. The only one I know if currently is Boxzilas at one time had only fronts. Now im told he has both though. But please, post up pics of your front or rear bagged setups

Thanks
Scott

Boxilla and others baged there rear only early before there were any good choices for the front, I've never seen anyone running a front only kit. Everyone sells there kits broke up however you want so all you need is a front kit and air managment. Thats all the expensive parts, the rear is cheap.

I ran my rear before I did the front. I can tell you how the front rides being fully bagged. I gotta say I have missed driving a car on bags. Its a lil floaty, but not too much, not too bouncy, but compared to cans, the ride will be a lot more smoother.

so the rears are a lot easier and cheaper to do vs. fronts?

i dont understand this stuff very well if you cant tell. most likely though, i wont be able to do both at once and i thought id at least get one end of it done if i do decide to do bags.

thats a big if right now though. i guess if you just have rears, you can post that up to!

thanks

the back is gonna be a lot less if you go with firestone 2500lb bags and the fbimini.com rear brackets. save up for the easy street kit for the front. The front is actually rather easy to install, you just need a lil more money for the parts.

Thanks for the link, the difference between single port and dual port is? Which one do you guys run?

Another thing, how do bags work as far as when going over bumps etc. Like coil springs compress and then the shock takes the energy from it uncompressing right? (or something like that), but when the bags are pumped up, like 80PSI or something, and you hit a bump, what happens to the bag? Does it compress and the compressor fills it back up? So when your driving the compressor is constantly running?

thanks

I had the rear bagged for about 4 weeks before I put my front kit on.

Quick question (in case i don't get an xB), all these parts should fit in the echo right? I know the front struts will, EchoB(on this forum) used to have xB struts on his echo, but will the rear brackets fit? Also, can someone tell me the difference between these 2 slam specialties bags?

Says their both 2500lb bags, but the RS62 is thicker and is more comfortable, but their the same price... i don't get it

One is bigger than the other.

Also, Slam bags won't fit the fbi rear brackets. They are designed for the firestone 2500lb bags or Contitech bags

ah sheit, you run firestone bags? any probs?

Also, how do you run your line to the bag? does the bag sit with the 1/2" port up or down? i'm guessing you put a 90 degree fitting and run hose to your valve right?

If i got these valves:

http://www.fbirides.com/product.asp?idno=4015

I would need only 2 for the back right? 1 for each side? could i just use 1 for the back? Also, what hooks up to those connectors to make it go to a switch? Where do you get a connector for them? thanks

Firestone bags work great. Always make sure the bag is clear from rubbing, which shouldn't be a problem with the xB.

The bags sit upside down with the design of the xB brackets from FBI. Most firestone bags I've used have a 3/8" port.

I used a straight fitting 3/8" to 1/2" to a 1/2" 90 degree to 1/2" push fitting for my air line.

If running a Front and back air system, which I recommend, you will only need 4 valves. 2 for front, and 2 for back. One valve will inflate, the other deflates.

I will draw up a diagram or find one that I might already have made and post it here so you can see what I have done.

thanks, that's what i would run is a FB setup, i don't want a side side, more money, more things to break, i just don't need it for what i want :D. Looking forward to seeing the diagram You have all your stuff mounted outside?

Would 1 2gal tank be good enough for just the rear until you get front bags? is that thomas 337 compressor good? It's like 500$ less than the others lol

I run a Viair 450c. I got it for like $190. I run a chrome 3 gal 2 port tank in my car. Its all inside the cab except for the valves.

so you have 3gal for all four corners? i'm asuming 2gal for just he back would be plenty then :D. Not a bad price on the compressor either:

http://www.ckcustoms.com/product_inf...products_id=31

2 port tank, does that mean it has 2 ports out? Cause it seems like common sense that every tank would have 2 ports, 1 would be in from the comressor right? And the other out to the valves? (i'm a total nub lol)

Also, from the tank, i would run to 1 valve right? (for the rear only) and then from the valve, i would put some type of T fitting and run lines to both bags? Where does the other valve go? (the 'release' valve)? I wish there was some sort of DIY i could read into.

If you can wait till tomorrow afternoon, I will make sure to draw up a diagram of how mine is using a 2 port tank that has front and back. I am too tired and need to go to bed, I'll explain how it all works.
