Default 215/40 19

yo, Im new to the boards and just have a question. I just got approved for the Scion today so I should be recieving it in June or whenever they get to f'in MI...I cant wait. My buddy can get sick deals on rims and im going to go with spinners. Some of you may not like this because your into making it a fast car or whatever but thats what my other car is for. I have a 98 talon TSI which ive put alot of money into for the speed aspect. This is going to be my daily driver and just the P.I.M.P mobile

ok for the question: has anybody tried running 40 series with 19's? I ask because the roads are ish in MI and i dont think 35 serious would cut it. Thanks

i have 215/35/19 and that already rubs in the front with a 2.2" drop on tanabe df210's. a 40 series would be a pain when make hard turns

Well man if you really wanna go spinners go with some 18s...... i know 19s will really be bling bling** but you wont be doing that much blingin from the side of the road....
get some 18s then lower it about 1inch with some springs from the scion life store then youll be set....

Hey I'm thinkin about getting some 18" spinners with 235/40/18.... will this be ok or will I have to do anything else to it? I'm not going to lower it at all since there are so many dips and bumps in the road where I live. I need a big tire and I think this might work? Anything wrong or will I run into any problems with this setting?

Yeah looks clean with those rims I like them alot, would even think about getting something like that but its just too much bling for me and I have had some bad experience with chrome rims flaking etc.
