Default Finally picked my xA wheels!

Finally decided on my new wheels. Here is an image from an old ebay auction.
I decided to get them from a local place in NH.

I hope the ride is not too rough.

Konig Helium 17x7 Wheels. As shown with Kumho 711s 215/45 I will be getting the 40s though... These weight in at a light 16.2 LBS. Pretty good, should actually be lighter than the stock steel tires.

Nice choice. Post some pics once you get the installed! I've got a set of the 15" bronze version. They used to be on my civic before the timing belt broke and the engine ate itself. I'm prolly gonna put them on the xB this weekend.

LOL!
I don't know from bling.
I jokingly came up with this phrase because of getting crap from guys for wanting to get nice wheels for my "ride".

I got my ten year old son saying it now. We say it in a certain way though. Sounds more like "I need more bling dan dat".

I did want to get something relatively simple and nice, light is definately a big plus. I think this wheel, and I looked (studied, read, shopped for a long time), at many wheels, and these were a very nice balance of # of spokes VS design etc...

I tell ya, shopping for wheels is a pain...

It ain't no thang. 899 with tires.

I could probably got them cheaper, but I really wanted to get the things ordered fast.

Thanks for the welcome.

I will be the first xA that I have seen around. I have only had it for a couple days, but I love the heck out of it.

I love when people point at you and you can see them yapping about it.

No complaints.
Now I just need to keep it clean. the hardest part!

I got the grey.

I kinda was wishing I woulda got the blue, but I love the grey also.

Yeah, I was really struggling to get a wheel that wasn't too flashy, but still fit the car well.

I think I did ok, and the lightweight wheels should help matters.

I am very psyched to get the wheels on, but I may be forced to lower the car a bit. I wasn't going to, but an inch and a half or so wouldn't hurt much.

I got a chance to see some sumomito htr+ tires today and I must say they *looked* very nice! but I think all-in-all I will be very happy with the Kumhos.

That's nice. May want to lower the ride. Silver is a nice choice, less cleaning. If I had the money I would go with 14"!! Yup, 205/60 series, truck tires with white lettering. Like the Astro Vans I see rolling around. My speedo wont be off by much at all as per Miata.net's tire calculator. But I probably still wont do it, mods are so expensive and ruins the reason why I bought the box (cheaper in the long run).

What's the offset...?

Good looking wheels, has the classic Volk Racing CE28N look going on. Nacy has some black CE28Ns on his xB...they look proper.

No, the ones in the picture look almost bronze, but the ones I am getting will be "hyper" silver.

...Not gonna get 'EM!

So after waiting a week for the wheels to come in,

I call Town Fair Tire and the guy says that they ordered the wrong bolt pattern, and when they tried to reorder the right one, Konig told them that the wheel I want is backordered for a month nation wide!

Screw it. Now I am looking for wheels again!
