well... all that other air compared to airrunner, is the same ride basically. its running 2500lb firestones in the rear. the front could be probably about the same. the front will feel a lil floaty, the rear should ride pretty smooth.

THe Easy Street Rear's Are Kinda Bumpy but I think we have already ruled them out for anyone ever using them again LOL

My FBI brackets and SS bags should be here today or tomorrow and Phil said they ride alot better then the Firestone bags but thats true on just about any vehicle, The SS bags have always rode better. even on my s10 I could tell a difference between firestone and SS bags

Peabe, we'll have to take my car for a ride so you can see for yourself. I like the ride, but am not fond of the common rear air setup. you may want to run F-B-S-S. I need a sway bar just to cut down the floatiness when turning.

From what I have been told, FBSS can cuz a lot of flex in the xb cuz of the car being so flexible and could... COULD (for the guy out there who can't understand this) cause problems that you may not be able to see. But its your decsicion. My car rides just fine on FB. Plus I could care less about a bouncy ride, its just one of the benefits I like of having air.

DUDE its adjustable......too little air the ride will be harsh, too much air and the ride will be bouncy, just right and it'll feel like a cadilac......

makes sense, i figured that but... what i meant is, does having SS make the ride quality any different from just having FB?

with a FB setup the bags in the front or rear are 'connected' and during hard turning the vehicle will exhibit more body roll then with a normal coil sprung suspension. This is caused by the air in the outside corner being forced out of the bag by centrifigal (sp?) force and flowing into the inside corner bag. On a FBSS setup the corners are independently controlled and isolated from eachother so the air cannot move from bag to bag.

^^^ that's why I am considering a thicker rear sway bar. It may help my handling dilemma a bit.

Ok, makes sense. I will probably just go with a FB setup, less things to break, and i won't be doing much "hard turning" just cruisin ^_^
