Default My FBI/Slam Specialties Bags Review (56k beware)

Install Time 2 1/2 hours by myself with hand tools
Job - Removing Easy Street Crapola Air Sleeve's and Mounts and Installing FBI's Brackets and Slam Specialities Bags.

First Note - For SS you have to get your own bolts / washers for the brackets and bag.
This kinda irked me that I have to go by my own bolts and stuff to make this kit work, but enh No big deal. I called FBI first to make sure they didnt forget anything but they said you have to.. its some SS rule that they dont send bolts with it

Got some 3/4 16 NC Grade 8 Bolts
Also Got 1 In Washers for the bottom part to bolt the bottom bracket to the lower control arm thingy.

While I was at the store I picked up Two 1/2 In Compression Fittings because the Easy Street Fittings have started leaking some

What Took me the Longest was getting the Easy Street's Rear Crap off my car since those little pesky hex bolts they send tend to rust and then the allen head wrench just rounds them off ..

The SS Bags Fill alot faster and I do mean A lot faster then the Sleeve Bags did.. Im running the same set up and when you hit the up switch while in the car it jerks your head back.. it actually suprised the hell out of me

The Ride is about 100 Times better.. The Rear End isnt sloppy feeling anymore.. It feels like there more control and its not bouncy at all!! I really love the way it rides now.. Keep in Mind I still have the Factory shocks on so once I get the Lowered ones put on should be alot better riding!!

On to the pics! In No real order

All Over I just Love them so far!

looks good, can we get a pic of the whole with the rear up and down? I wanna see how much more lift and how much lower it gets with SS bags compared to firestone

Cool pics and stuff, I sware SS bags are just 100 times nicer looking then anything else out there. You can't beat that internal bump stop either.

Rides looking good.

The only problem with the SS bags is that internal bump stop keeps it from going as low as the crappy ES bags.

When my buddy switched from ES to SS he already had the lower shocks and he lost about an inch of drop.

nice write up man. Definitely the way i'm going to go! How do you mount your valves in the rear? Did you bolt them on the frame somewhere? Looks like their more reliable then other stuff, and they go up pretty high too . I want to put my compressor inside as well, and the valves outside. Wish i didn't have to drill a hole tho

The valves are up under the bumper behind the bumper support..

For the Hole We just Air Nibbles a Chunk out and then covered the edges with Tape

As a temp fix Im using several layers of tape to cover the holes and still alow the lines to go through.. Once I get frisky one weekend everything is comeing out of the back and im laying down my sound deadner
