Default Wheel/Rim Selection for a xB?? Need Help...

Hi,

As I mentioned before, I’m purchasing a 2006 xB. As of now the only option I’m purchasing is the $260 iPOD upgrade. I would like to purchase a nice set of rims. I was going to upgrade to the 15” scion rims.

But I’ve seen so many xB’s with 16-18’s rims. If I was to upgrade to larger rims, is there anything else that would need to be done/adjusted?

I ask, because a friend of mine increased the rim/tire size on his truck. I seriously believe that the actually miles per hour displayed on the gauge was inaccurate. It felt as if the truck was traveling at a faster rate.

This is a TOTAL beginner question, which I’m sure many of you experienced year’s ago. I would appreciate your input.

I couldn’t find this type of question using the search feature.

Thanks,

HB

And wheel size isnt what messes up a speedo/ODO. its the tire size on the rim. if you go with bigger wheels, and thinner tires, they can equal out and not have any problems.
