Depends on what tire rating you want. I mean you probably don't need any ZR or WR rated tires. I think you can get a good set of kumho rubber for like $150

I don't care about speed rating I need performance in all conditions...I just don't want to be $750-800 out the door

This is tireracks choice for 18" Ultra All Conditions Performance:

Avon Tech M550 A/S $119
Continental ContiExtremeContact $120
Kumho ECSTA ASX $95
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S $204
Pirelli PZero Nero M&S $130
Sumitomo HTR+ $89 (special)

Anyone got any opinions other than the pzero being good.

Go with Pirelli PZero Neros'. That's what I have on my 18s'. They are inexpensive, are rated very well, and look sharp!

Generally, low profile tires, like the 18"s u want will give u the same ride and comfort level. although performance can vary. I dont know if u are lookin for performance, but very inexpensive tires are Nexen's n3000, im getttin them in my next set of wheels, they are Z rated, and they have very good water cycling pattern

u can get it at www.performanceplustire.com

I think they are like 80 bucks each..

im just suggesting really inexpensive tires .

www.wheelmax.com Nankang NS-II. I like mine. I used to have a set of Nitto NT-555 and they hated water. These Nankangs are cheap and I have been very happy with them so far.

i really like the bf goodrich gforce KDWS.
when i first got my 18's they came with goodyear tires that lasted a month, and they sucked in cold weather (dont even think about snow, even flurries would make you slide). then i wanted something with good treadwear, and something i could use year round. the KDWS were the answer. 400 treadwear rating. they handle excellent in wet, dry, or even snow. they didnt cost that much either. about $120-$140 per tire for 18's.

Default Falken 512

Discount Tire Direct - www.discounttiredirect.com

They have been in business for over 40 years and have a national network. They are tirerack's daddy. Tirerack buys tires from them. They offer Free Shipping! Not many places do that.

Their Road Hazzard Program is the best too. They offer 3 years warranty. If you get a nail or something, they send you a brand new one free. They may or may not ask you to send the old one back.

I personally have and love the Falken 512. They were rated #1 the best max performance value by Consumer Reports. The tire also has a protective lip, that a lot of tires dont (like the P-Zero's, which has had some out-of-round issues).
