equips like those belong on a corolla or simular car from like 20 years ago. lol not a 2000 car. its just out of place.
like if u threw on superfins.. or ewings onto a freaking xb.
some will say its "jdm" and losts will say "oh man!" but
it just don't match.. well thats my opinion, im probably wrong.

 

I get what you mean, but to me, it feels like xBs are an exception. The xB can appropriate so many styles, old school being one of them. I don't think any other modern car can pull it off...maybe a vitz/echo....

But the new Equips are nice updated versions. In my opinion, they've become classics like Shelltoes or Dunks. Still, it's still gotta be done right, but most peeps willing to put down $1500 for 15s usually know the deal.

wheels..but its just a personal thing.
like if u had a BMW.. and u threw on WORK VS-XX
im sure it'll be bad ___.. but it just dont mix!
just like if i put american racing.. or centerlines
on my xb.. those are bad ___ for american cars...
but mixing is just weird.. can u picture those rims on
a xA? or a tC? it just dont cut it. i know what u mean by
the box can pull it off, but ive never been a fan of such old
rims on such "current" cars. but like i said. i could be wrong.
or maybe im alone on this..

I haven't seen a xB on Equips with a fitment that blows my mind yet...but I did like bBOXD's (Mark) stance when he had Equips. At the time he had pretty aggressive fitment (8" +25, +10 offset), but a year later w/ almost everyone on air or coilovers and easy-to-get camber, I'd have expected more people to go more extreme with the Equips by now (w/ the exception of the All-Star xB).

 

Well, I appreciate your opinion HAHAJOEY, I personally think that these wheels look amazing on a box...I Have the 03's with the black face and I think they're gonna look sick on my BSP box...unlike some people I didn't buy them because they're "works" or because some might consider them JDM. I simply got them because I like them...and if I'm alone in thinking that...to tell the truth, I really don't care...lol
It's my car, I pay for what I put on it, and I have to drive it everyday. So in the end..the only person that matters is me.
I'll be sure to post pics as soon as they're mounted and you all can Flame me or praise me like a God...it really make's no difference to me.
But thanks for the input...I'm glad everyone has a different one, or everyone's car would look the exact same.

Whats wrong with Work ewing rs betas? I have them and personally like them.

 

well betas are one of my favorite rims.. maybe for the
civic ek.. but thats cuz its for that year. or close to it..

if you put TE37's on a i dunno, let say a cressida..
or if you put ssr reverse mesh on a 350z..
just cuz it fits good, doesn't mean its right.

from my understanding of how people think..
they THINK the xb can pull it off cuz thats what
they DRIVE! lol.

but i TOTALLY feel u on the.. "got works cuz their works"
mentality, there are a lot of those..
theres a ugly ___ 350z YELLOW that has work equips
oh man is it nasty..
it just looks like a photoshop gone wrong, but in real life!

but like i said, to each their own.. i LOVE good wheel fitment,
and i love seeing cars(in general)...

oh yeah.. for example..
the car is great.. the rims are great.. but
they just don't match..
