Default rs1 grill

cleared my corners this weekend and when i took my grill off i noticed plexy glass behind the grill. it is attached to the grill and i was wondering if this is for support. otherwise can i take it off. it seems like it would restrict airflow to engine through the grill. i dont know. has anyone done this or say what i'm talking about? would you take it off?

Leave it ! That's there to keep the bugs and water from flowing right into the engine compartment. The stock grills are solid and don't pass air thru anyway, the air is drawn from the two lower grill sections.

If you want to take it off, I know someone who'll buy it since we were just looking to make one for his after market grill.

say hello to bug city after you remove it! I saw that thing too, really wondered why they did that also, but also remembered that our stock grill doesn't allow air to pass also. :D
