If you have 16/17 rims on your xB, I have a few quick Q's??
I read the "FAQ for Wheel Fitment" thread. It was very helpful. "Kendo" gave a good example that increasing the tire size can cause the vehicle to be traveling at a faster rate than with stock tires.
I would like to increase the rim size to 16 or 17 for my scion xB. What tire size would minimize the effect mentioned above?
I do not plan on lowering the vehicle, or changing the susupension. I'm just looking for tires that are a bit beefier.
According to the thread 205/55/16 could work, or 215/45/17. Would there be any issues with tire rub?
Thanks

I have ran 215/45/17, lowered on tien s-tech, only rub on quick turn.

click this link and mess with the sizes on the right for the aftermarket wheel. the wheel on the left is the stock wheel/tire dimension, and the wheel on the right is the 16x7 rota gt3 and a 205/50 series tire. very close in comparison to stock size hieght wise.
