This may have been answered before but I couldn't find it.

I am wondering if the spare that came with the car will work if you have added 18's to it. I have never changed the wheel size on a car before. In my mind this may work, but its doesn't sound too safe.

I really want to know so that I can goahead and reclaim the space for stereo equipment if the spare is useless.

you can still use the spare assuming that you are ONLY using it for a very short distance

unless you have triple A then CHUCK THE DANG THING!

 

yeah i got towing with my insurance so I think i am going to add it to the soon to be large pile of rims and tires in the building out back.
