i dont see why people like them so much. but congrats on a rare and expensive wheel. and it isnt neccessarily hating as much as disliking. or severly disliking depending upon the persons likes. anythings better than huge "bling" chrome wheels. dont smash em up cheers.

Dislike, hate, whatever you want to call it... I dont see why people have to be so negative about certain things people like. I would expect owners of unique cars, especially the xB, to be more accepting than the stereotypical car owner who only has pride in their car and only their car. Sorry just a rant in regards to all the negative/"wah wah wah" comments I see on ScionLife.

These ran around ~$1300. I had and still have some 18s in Gunmetal/Anthracite but I dont want to shove out $800 for tires again. So i opted to get these 15x8 rims whereas the tires will run $400 mounted balanced and all that good stuff.

I am going to get some BFGoodrich G-Force Sport tires for these rims. One of my buddies just picked up some of these tires and they say they are the best bang for your buck.

The offset on these is a little weird cause I requested 10 for the rear and 20 for the front but i got 10 for the rear and 25 for the front. So i guess the rears will be sitting out a little more.

I got these from SRTMotorsports.com They got me the best price out of the 4 places I called. The only downside is that I waited 9 weeks for these things to come from Japan but i think they were well worth the wait.

Thanks for all the great comments guys

Since these are 3-piece, the offsets available are pre-set in 12/13mm increments, that why you got +25, right in between +38 and +13. $1300 is a really good price too!

So what size tires are you thinking about? Can't wait to see the finished product....

I'm pretty sure Work goes by 5mm increments. When I called up AKH Trading which is the authorized distributor for Work Wheels they told me to go with 10 and 20. I've seen two other cars with the Equip 03s that got them in 15 and 25. I'm not too sure about that 12/13mm increments. Oh well, I will try to get pics tommorow after i get them put on. Thanks again -Rich

I wonder how those cars got +15 offset for Equips? Hmmm. I'm pretty sure Work can custom up to 1mm increments for 2-piece wheels. but for the 3-piece wheels they are set in 12 or 13mm (about 1/2 inch) increments. But what do I know, anyways? I'm just going by the www.work-wheels.co.jp/ website...

So, what size wheels have you decided on? Are you dumped on the Tein SS? I'm sure it's gonna look sweet

Very sexy bro...congrats!
And welcome to the club!

You'll LOVE running so much more tire than a 18" or 19" wheel...trust me!

Congrats on getting your wheels, I'm sure it'll be like christmas putting them on your box.

I still fail to see why many people want as much "lip" on their rims as possible; I just don't get why they like it so much.
*shrugs*
