painting wheels
if you want just your spokes on your wheels painted what kind of paint do you need to have done to them? and how much would it cost i know theres a few posts about it but i really couldnt find this information
first I know u said u searched but maybe u just over looked it..
but I've painted my stock rims black and I use
high gloss black engine paint.
total cost for me was about 20.
2 cans of spray
1 can of primer
sandpaper
now if u get them powdercoated it depends where u take them. I got a quote on 50 a rim so say about 200

If you hust want the spokes done then you can't get them powder coated. No one will do them, I suppose you cannot mask using this process. I tried to get it done but all the shops told me they would have to do the whole rim.
Hey Chubster41, you got any pics, does anyone have pics. I tried to start this thread 3 months ago and nobody responded.

ok there painted what do you think???
imo they seem to light i might have to repaint them darker but i also did a full mandrel bent exhaust while i was doing this so i was welding and spraying and cutting all at the same time lol both im pleased with for now though

I think I will go ahead and do mine.. screw it. I have 18x8" TSW Slots, I have to figure out how exactly to paint it though. I want to keep a little silver lip, and keep the silver allen-wrench keys silver too. I think it is going to look hot! I'll get the supplies tonight, and I might just go ahead and do them. I'll keep you all posted.
