OTG spacers affects on handling
Ive been reading up on the OTG spacers and ive been wondering if installing these spacers will have any affect on the handling of my car. But when i say handling i mean hard core race driving, autocrossing. As they say wider is better, but your just pushing out the rear drums, so i dont know if its safe. Does anybody have some opinions or past experiences please share.
widening the rear track will induce more severe understeer
unless the front is widened similarly, or wider wheels used in front
you can try using higher tire pressure in the rear and lower in front
or add negative camber to the front to balance the slip that way
there are many ways to correct the effects
but the car will be faster even with the understeer

i do not race my car competitively but I do drive it very spiritedly. The car handles great with a good suspension setup and OTG components.
