Default Does what I'm looking for not exist? (16 x ? question)

At the risk of sounding like a complete idiot, i'm searching for a 16x8 or 16x9 that I can run on my goldlines w/ NO modifications, save for a set of OTG spacers should I need them. I don't want to have to roll fenders

Any ideas out thurrrrr? Bueller? I was running 17x7s before and am totally not content w/ the stance.

I've wasted many an hour *cough*at work*cough* scouring the web and this site and so far have not had any real successful leads.

any help would be greatly appreciated

First off, 16x8 and 16x9 are pretty rare finds. I know some of the European wheel makers, such as BBS and Borbet make them, and perhaps some of the high-end JDM manufacturers make 'em, too.

As long as your offet isn't too crazy, a 16x8 shouldn't be a problem (correct me if I'm wrong). I can't speak for 16x9, though. I think you'd have to run a pretty high offset wheel not to have to roll the fenders, though. And there aren't a lot of high-offet 16x9s on the market.

i am running a 16x8 +26 all around with one degree neg. camber in the front and have no problems. that is your best bet, a16x8 with proper offset. 16x9 and no mods is asking too much.

yeah i figured the 16x9 w/ no mods would be practically impossible... looks like that pretty much picks my wheel choice for me :-X (comes in a 16x8 from tunershop)

does anyone think the borbet A would look terrible as a 16x7.5? (w/ a fat tire?)

i've been thinking of getting these and painting the centers black or anthracite w/ the smooth center cap...

*drools all over self*

Borbet A's ROCK, especially w/the smoothie cap. If you want it like the pic tho, you'll have to get the 9's, at least for the back. Classic look for vdubs, but there needs to be a xB with em

You have the same style as i do in wheels it seems...

I want 15" Brock Super Cups for my future 2nd xB.

There's a few guys running 15x8 Schmidt Modern Lines on here, that's a sick Euro setup.

NKBs come in 16x8 and 16x9. I was going to run those until I got the 18 inch bBist wheels.

agreed :D

seriously though - trying to decide if 16x7.5's would look ridiculous for the borbet A *ponder*

in what sense? i'm guessing you are referring to the extreme lip... :D

i'm trying to picture in my head what the 7.5" width would look like - can't seem to track down any pictures of this set-up on any car...

It would look cool, just wouldn't have that sick lip...

You might want to check the 15's on there, alot come in 8" w/good offsets.
