Default New Rims/Tires

Will be getting my wife's new xA in about 6 weeks....

I want to change the ugly, cheap stock rims (covers), but don't really need to change the tires (or do I?), and I don't want to lower/raise it either. I'm not a tuner, but want the car to look half way decent. It'll be RSP 2006.

Any recommendations? Same tires with new rims? Wider tires on new rims? What am I looking at price wise?

i said the same thing so dont worry....

im not a fan of wheel max really, but you can get tons of stuff on ebay. theres lots of wheel options there for cheap. look at seller "rimdealer" from FL. lots of cheap wheel packages that are really good (i got 2 sets from him before).

and just for the record, i said the same thing august of 2004, now its november of 2005 and ive spent over 7000 in mods alone

modding is addictive and dangerous to the pocketbook. be careful

Thanks for the help.

How do I know what size rims and tires will still be good/acceptable for the car?

go to 1010tires.com and they have some calculators to make sure theyll not screw up the speedo.

as long as you are between 15-19 wheel size you shouldnt have to worry. that and make sure your offset is between 20-42 and youll be on the safeside

If you really want a one stop solution, I would recommend either www.tirerack.com or http://www.tires.com. Either site can recommend both stock size replacement as well as "plus size" options. They even have package deals available.
