I've been thinking about getting some chrome side door guards. I've been debating myselft because I kinda like the clean look of the Scion without them, but I think some chrome ones might give it a little more flair. What do y'all think? Do you know anyone who has done it? I don't so I think it would be original.

Here's a sample on a 300C - this one is not all chrome but colored with a chrome stripe.

 

Hi, I did it on my wife's Matrix, we used a clear one....got it at Ziebart. It looks great on the Matrix and after 1 Year still looks like new. I have a xB and decided not to put one, I think it's not going to look good because of the flat panels. The car is also smaller and don't use all the space when you park it, therefore you should have less problems with dings.

 

no not those. I may have called them the wrong thing. I'm talking the 1-2 inch wide ones that run along the side of the car from from to back.
Like on most cars. I'll post a pick when I figure out how.

The Jeep Liberty has one that is all chrome

 

I had 1.5" wide dark blue vinyl ones put on my BOP xB. They don't match the color exactly, but they're close enough. Saves on those dings!
